❸ Approach

At the heart of psychoanalytic therapy is deep listening. In our sessions, I listen closely to what is spoken and what remains unsaid. My hope is to create the conditions for my patients to access thoughts, feelings, longings, and desires that may have been buried for a long time. Therapy is a reflective space, away from the momentum of daily life, where we can think and feel aloud, grieve, dream, play, and take risks.

Relationships and sexuality are complex, alive, and ever-changing. They ask of us patience, presence, and the capacity to tolerate uncertainty and discomfort. Through a balance of gentle inquiry and active redirection, I support couples and individuals in dislodging entrenched negative patterns and creating a more open and responsive way of being with one another.

The body is central to my work. Alongside an analytic frame, I draw from a range of somatic modalities to strengthen patients’ connection to their bodies and access the wisdom within.

People of all gender expressions and identities, as well as straight and queer couples are welcome in my practice.
